Unit 11 - 12 Web Portfolio

Three Different Portfolio Websites

Portfolio Links:

http://followbubble.com
http://www.adandypunk.com/#!squidinkings/ck0q
http://www.rudylamotte.com/#!portfolio-3d/c6yf

Questions:
Navigation / Focus:
Does the Design have a focal point? What is your first impression? How does the designer use color and layout to make the site appealing and engaging? What kind of navigation does the site use: main navigation, sub-navigation, drop-down menu, fly-out menus, image maps? Is the navigation clear? How many links are in the navigation? Are there too many?

Target Audience :
Who is the website's target audience? What is the theme or concept behind the site? Does the concept match the content? Do they reinforce each other? Is the site effective in engaging the audience?

Usability:
Is the website's interface and navigation intuitive and effective? Is the site coherent and consistent throughout? Does the website effectively use hierarchy to organize the content? Is the hierarchy helpful to navigate the content? Does the navigational structure allow the user to find content quickly and efficiently? Do interactive navigation and elements add or detract from the user experience?

Visual Communication:
Contrast (Examples: color to produce contrast, size contrast, focus or not in focus) Alignment (Examples: vertical, horizontal, justified, centred (passive alignment) Repetition (theme or elements from page to page, coherence to achieve a consistent theme. How much repetition and how much variety do you want?) Proximity (relationships between elements, between sub-heads and paragraphs or images and captions, grouping of images and elements)

For this the first blog above here is follow http://followbubble.com. The focal point to me in my opinion was the doodles around the website. They were very cute and simple. I like the simplicity and its refreshing compared to fancy blogs and the order for the blog. This made me feel that this blog was very free and creative. My first impression that this blog was it was artistic and simple. The drawings were nice and simple. The drawings make me want to look around and keeps me interested. The designer uses the color and layout to make this site appealing and engaging from highlighting the particular links on the page. The obvious link on this page would be the menu text in the color white or about us for example. The white stands out from the blue which indicates the viewer that its important in my opinion. The type of navigation that this website uses is drop down menu because after clicking on a particular link on the page, you will be guided to a new page of information and explore the website from different links. The number links in this website are eight. There is one for the home page, work, tools, about their website, the jobs available there, their blog and where to contact them. I think there are too many link for this website because in my opinion, I would mainly like to see the art work, their experience and where I can contact them rather then all the other information not needed.

The website's navigation isn't too effective to me because it took me a while to find the menu. I got distracted from all the pretty doodles and went directly to the links rather then finding the menu. The way you navigate on this blog is cool but I wouldn't say easy for a newcomer like me. . I don't think their website is very consistent when exploring this website because I got lost looking through their website. When exploring, I found that I was having a hard time and weren't alike transitions. I think the user would find their information efficiently depending if they find the menu link because its easy to gain access where you want to go but if you don't see the menu link at first, then it would be really difficult finding your way around the website. When exploring their website, I found it was quick at the least even though the navigation was difficult, it had good speed. I found that the interactive navigation was detracting in my opinion because all I wanted to see it the main point rather then just the appearance of the web portfolio.

For this website, I found that the website contrasted great with the different shades of blue and white. They were simple and effective. The website wasn't distracting and didn't have too much going crazy. The sizes were the appropriate proportion an took the whole web page. The appearance would make it  very appealing for viewers in my opinions for people who like art like me. There is alignment in this blog and is very organized. After the home page of the blog, it very organized when finding the projects that they have done or when they explain what they do. I think the "Doodle" theme was pretty consistent because there would be doodles in every link I would go to. There would be at least one section of a cute doodle on the webpage as I looked through. The type of consistency of a theme in my webpage I would want at least one little part of the theme as the viewer would scroll and explore my web portfolio. I want to keep them interested and loving the appearance so they want to explore more. This whole website relates all together to the way that they are positioned to the font of the website. The reason that it relates to the theme because I think the appearance is meant to look simple, creative and artistic since this website is a digital and social media agency. It related to the theme for everything and the designer of the blog executed that very well in my opinion. The whole theme and appearance did and an amazing job.

This picture on the right is the second website I chose, http://www.adandypunk.com. I think the focal point of this web portfolio is the person in the background. I find that he stands out regardless which link you click on the web. I would say my first impression of this amazing website is that it was creative and different. I loved the little stick people and pencil drawings. I happen to be in art and love the change in visuals rather then having the usual organized plan web portfolios. The maker of the website uses color in his web portfolio is by contrasting some dark colors in his art with a mix of some bright beautiful colors like red or bright white to black, or some neon colors in the dark. The type of navigation that the maker uses is a menu on the top of his web portfolio and slides into the links he presents left to right depending which link you click on the top menu. The maker uses main navigation to get around his web portfolio. Yes, i think the navigation for this website is very easy to access. There are no confusing links when exploring and enjoyed looking around at the art of this website. There are four links in total and find it enough. Its very simple and i think anybody could navigate this website without any difficulty.

I think that this web portfolio is intended for professionals looking for experienced art director and artist. The theme of this web page would be a mix of Gothic art to cute doodles of stick people and dark interesting art. I think the concept matches the design because the dark art from the maker of the web portfolio, mixes the dark art to their amazing props that they made contrasts well together. Very creative and probably my favorite out of the three web portfolios I chose. I find that the little stick people also reinforce with the dark punk theme because its simple and somehow represents his thoughts maybe in doodles? That's what i first thought about the doodles / stick people. I love how it incorporates drawings with a mix of clothing styles with amazing prop art this person made.

I think that the web face's interface and the navigation is very simple yet artistic to explore for this website in my opinion. Although there isn't too much designs, the simple little stick people and some of the font is unique! It makes it interesting to click around and i think its effective in my opinion. I find that website's hierarchy helps navigate the website. I find that its very simple and anyone can get through this web portfolio. I find that the interactive navigation adds to the user's experience because even though the style is simple, it helps add to the style of the web maker.

I find the focus of this web portfolio is the doodles in the background and the little stick men to show he creativity of the maker of the website. It also shows his character and his style in art which is quite interesting. The boxing style in the "ego" or home page, it contrasts with the font links and the drawings of his character. The font of the information from this website is small and easy to read. The alignment of this website is repetition. Its the same theme and background. There aren't too many changes and only different boxes or shapes when the web maker puts in information about the work or about themselves. There is already a lot of repetition and I don't think I would want anymore repetition for this website since its already okay the way it is and enough repetition. The relations between the elements and theme of this website is that their all gothic with a mix of freedom I get from it. I get the thought of freedom from the doodles of the creator and gothic from the background outfit the maker of the website had wore.

The last picture here is the website http://www.rudylamotte.com. I think the focal point in this web portfolio is unique logo of Rudy LaMotte. My first impression of this website was that it was very fancy and quite attractive. The website looks like some website of the future and very nice. The user used the black to cover the areas of the website and white to emphasize the important parts of the website like the logo and the owner of this website. This website uses main web navigation. Its very easy to get through and navigate through the multiple links. There are seven links and I thinks that's enough since the maker of this website is an environmental artists. The person needs to introduce and show all the different styles this person has to offer with their resume and contact information. I think there are enough links and not too many in my opinion because Rudy is showing all his styles and beautiful art he offers.

I think the target audience would be game designers for big video game companies in my opinion.  I think the theme and concept of this website is to show the futuristic art of the Artist and show how great their art is in their own unique style. Yes, I think the concept matches the art because the appearances and art are very futuristic and I find a beautiful landscape for video gaming if you were to pick this person for a graphic designer. Yes, the appearances and art reinforce each other because they both compliment their appearances and landscapes for art and graphic art. I think this website is engaging and very interesting to the viewer because the art style looks very enticing when you first stumble across this website. Its very futuristic and different compared to the other web portfolios.

I don't think the navigation is too effective because it doesn't move but only disappears to the next link. Nothing to big and interesting that can catch the viewers attention. I think the only attention that would be grabbed from his website would be the visual but otherwise, it wouldn't be to interesting. The website is very consistent and doesn't lose its theme or visuals. Yes, this website uses hierarchy to organize this website. Its useful and very helpful navigating through the web portfolio. The navigational structure makes it very easy for anyone to look through this website. The interactive navigation adds to the futuristic feel to this website.

The colour white contrasts with the black and the colour white helps emphasize the important parts of the website and focuses. The alignment of this website is centered. There is a lot of repetition and could use some variety. The relations of the elements of the images for this website are all very simple yet organized and futuristic.

Unit 10 Dreamweaver Tutorial Thoughts

Dreamweaver is a difficult program to learn. I found that when I started learning the dreamweaver program, it wasn't too bad but as i worked through the lessons of the instruction booklet for Dreamweaver program, I found that I had some difficulties. I needed to ask for help throughout chapter 4-6 because I wasn't sure where all the particular tools were. Eventually after I had finished doing all the tutorials, I found that after getting used to tools of Dreamweaver, it wasn't too bad and I think I get Dreamweaver a bit better. I hope I won't have too much difficulty doing the last project, my web profolio which is  Unit 11 and 12. Lastly, my thoughts on reading all the chapters were too long in my opinion but they were helpful in the end. Just very time consuming to read the 12 Chapter of the booklet. Otherwise, it was a good learning experience for a new program.

Visual Diary Entry Drawing # 6

This drawing here was inspired from the Friday. Friday was the last day to hand in assignments. I felt so better handing in my assignments because i got so accomplished. I thought in the beginning of the week that I wasn't going to make my due dates and possibly fail but I gave it my all and made it. I rised like a flower from a storm and my own flower. Unique and I stood up for myself.   I'm glad I finished but now, its time to study for exams and get this school years finished up! I can do it! If i believe in myself, I can do it!
I would also like to say, if it wasn't for my best friend who pushed and believed in me, I don't think I would have finished. Thanks for helping me rise up and reach my goals friend.

Thanks for reading and feel free to comment.

Visual Diary Entry Drawing # 5

This sketch was inspired to me from a song called " Odd and Ends " By Hatsune Miku. Oddly enough, her music inspires me even though she may not be real. People make her music and those lyrics she sends just happen to be so inspiring oddly enough to me. She's quite the inspiration / role model. This song made me less stressful and believe that I can finish the rest of my units. This song is really amazing and a catchy song. I recommend you listen to it since its so awesome.

Lyrics of the song in English:
You always have been laughed at
Unattached in all you do
In the end, descending into the rain.
"My favorite umbrella has been blown away." you say.
With appreciation for your efforts,
I've been treading upon that field.

As always, You are a Disliked person.
People KEEPing their disTANCE withOUT reason
EVEN though you put in MUCH effort.
Thinking "It must be for some reason or another.",
You're at loss and have fallen into sadness.

So it's fine to use my voice!
Not able to be understood by humans, A painful, terrible voice
Even if it's called such things,
I'll surely become your strength.
So let me sing and you'll see.
Yes, let me sing your very own words!

Compose and join them together
I'll cry out those words and feelings
Lay out your ideals,
I won't let anyone touch those feelings.
And then the voice being Odds & Ends will ring out.
Clumsily connecting the truth together.
Raising a loud voice with all my might.

For a while now, you've become a popular person
Praised by so many, I'm proud as well.

But since when have you changed like this?
Becoming so cold and lonely like this
Already there are so many mechanical voices
Being who I am.
In the end, you could not hold it back and begin to hate me.

Behind your back, someone said
"He's just acting big."
You were crying alone, weren't you?

Can you hear it?
This voice, I'm wiping those words away
I know the truth that you are more kind than anyone.

And then the voice of the Odds & Ends sang.
Not just for anyone, just for you.
A gentle squeak, crossing any boundary

Together we have thought of so many words to say, haven't we?
And yet, right now, a single word doesn't come to mind.
but still everything is understood
"I see, surely this is a dream.
Never waking up, coming to know you, that kind of dream."

The Odds & Ends keeps a smiling face like that.
No matter how much I call out, it still won't move

At your desired conclusion, crying and screaming.
It's a lie right? It's not true!
Yes, cry and scream

"I'm powerless."
I could not rescue even a single neglected item.
These feelings, through your tears,
Stain your cheeks one by one.

At that time, the world will change that color in a grand way
Sadness and happiness, all will be felt together as one.

When I begin to sing, the world will once again go around for your sake.
That voice entrusted with your intentions.
Right now, those feelings will ring out!

Visual Diary Entry Drawing # 4

This sketch for me was inspired by music in general. Since its almost the last week of school with lots of units being handed in, I find that when ever i listen to music, it inspires me to keep on working hard or motivate me. It depends on they type of music. IF its a fast song, I'll work faster and go to the best of the fast song. An example is the 6 trillion years and overnight song. It has a really fast beat and motivates me to work faster. If the song is a slow song, I'm more likely to fall asleep or work slower since the song is slow. Music is amazing how i can motivate and inspire people. Music helps me get rid of stress and relax a bit more when I work. Music also helps me smile if I don't feel the best and its amazing how music is every where. You can really get away with it. It helps people like me for example and influences people for the good.

Thanks for reading.

Visual Diary Entry Drawing # 3

This sketch is based on a song Called "6 Trillion Years and One Night". The reason I was inspired to draw this sketch is because, this song mentions how the world is against two kids from the way their are born. The two kids eventually get away from the world and live happily but no one knows where they end up after they had disappeared. This concept is interesting plus the music is very unique compared to the other sons I've listend to lately. Its was interesting and got inspired to draw the girl from the video since I want to be like her. Fight against the world for your hapiness no matter what waves or obstacles come in my way. I want to be able to chase my dreams and succeed in them no matter the problem or obstacle. I know I will be able to become an animator if I believe in myself. No one can stop me from chesing that dream and this has also inspired to work more in the process. I would say in my opinion, its my new tune for the week.

Thanks for reading and the link for this song is down below.

Visual Diary Entry Drawing # 2

These sketches were inspired by a song "I refuse" By Hatsune Miku. The reason why this song inspired me was because I can relate this song to life right now. Currently, as a ward student that's trying to hand in the last of my units so i can finish the coarse is pretty stressful. So much work happening, so much stress and not a lot of sleep unfortunately - u -;;;. Anyways, back to my point. I learned from this song that, so matter how stressing work may be, I shouldn't push it too much to work for example, sleep late every night. I need some rest every once in a while. There are just some days or times when I got to take a break and say No. Take a break to relax because I've worked hard for the past weeks before and now. Just say no too myself and refuse. The bottom left face the right page represents that. It represents to just say no and relax even if I have a butt load or work or worried about sleep.
This song had also taught me, even if I can't finish all my tasks or work, at least I tried right? Things happen and I should continue working hard. This reminds of another song from Hatsune Miku, "Whatever: What ever happens in life, it happens and that song also inspired me to sketch the expressions ion the right.

Thanks for reading this entry and feel free to comment as usual.

Visual Diary Entry Drawing #1

                          My Love for Video Games:

This drawing that drawing inspired my love for video games every since I was a 4 years-old.
The love of video games all started when my father handed me a controller. A Nintendo 64 controller in particular. It was a change of a life time. I never knew this at the time but anyways, after I player super Mario world on the SNES, my world changed and I had played many games with my sister. We loved playing and would get the newest games form the Mario series for example or new interesting games to us. My sister always taught me to take care of the console or controller. That's one of the memories I remembered when playing with my sister when I was young.

This love for video games can relate to the theme of cartography also is for many reasons. Video games were like an adventure and video games drew my life in a sense. Video Games either taught you lessons to learn and helped me be who I am today. Even though the characters in the game weren't real, they were either a role model or someone amazing you could relate to. They were inspiring for example, Link from legend of Zelda. He has bravery like no one else. He fights many monsters and goblins to save the world / princess of Hyrule. This makes me want to be a better person and a braver person since the game showed how one person can make a big difference from a single trait, Bravery. That's all you need. No matter how dark the path of life is, you can be your own light and make it though the dark cave to the ending or find a reward waiting for you.

I'd like to say, thank you for reading and feel free to respond to this Journal. You can share your opinion and comment.

Nights: Journey of Dreams Music: Dream Gate

Nights: Journey of Dreams Music: Dream Gate
(Link above is the tune that inspired me)

This song is from a video game I had played called Nights Journey of Dreams. The game is based on dreams and playing as NIghts, as you can see the character in the picture. The reason this lovely tune inspired me to relate to the theme of this year's art show, Cartography is because cartography is based on mapping and adventure correct? Well this tune represents the gate to different dream doors. The dream doors contains amazing worlds in them. These doors reminded me of that adventure of dreams. You get to decide which path to go to. There are different dreams and its all up to you! No limits and free to choose which ever one you like. No ones there to stop you and you can pick that dream! The small picture is one of the dream doors and i couldn't find a particular picture of one door or the dream gate unfortunately. You'll have to play the game to see the what the whole dream gate looks like.
This tune also reminds me how magical chasing your dreams are. The excited feeling of starting and improving as you work hard to the top! The melody is also pretty calming and soothing .
Thanks for reading this visual Diary entry!

Unit 8-9 Research Notes on Info Graphics

My favourite Info Graphic

1) What drew you in to THIS Info graphic? Why did you choose this one? Be specific.
2) What is the main topic of your info graphic?
3) How was the information arranged and presented? Did they use sections, titles, graphs multiple...be specific.
4) What do you the author did to make sure EVERYONE could understand this info graphic?
5) Was your info graphic created to make you feel a certain way or to persuade you? If yes, how did it make you feel or what was it trying to persuade you to do?
6) How were colours or images used to create a mood or set a tone?
7) What did you like about your info graphic?
8) What would you change about this info graphic to make it better?

The colours, the pictures and the text had drawn me to this info graphic because I had recognized the famous brand names like Nintendo, Sega and Play Station. The other reasons why this info graphic drew me are because the bright vibrant colours with some of the cool colours and the pictures like Mario I knew for example or Legend of Zelda.

The main topic of this info graphic is about the top 10 most addicting video games of all time. The top 10 are from the Mario series, Legend of Zelda, GoldenEye 007, World of War Craft, Grand Theft Auto and Tetris.

The information of this info graphic was arranged and presented by sections in order with titles and graph multiples. Its easy to read and a very easy to read info graphic.

I made sure that everyone could understand the info graphic by presenting a lot of big pictures to understand the subject of the info graphic and at least get the general idea that this info graphic is about info graphic.

This info graphic was supposed to feel that you can relate to this info graphic because I've played 7 out of the 10 games I can relate since they are addictive and they're really good games to play for a really long time. I still play some of these games today every once in a while when I'm not busy with units and really enjoy playing these old games. This info graphic is supposed to influence the viewer also because, this would motivate someone who would want to play a really good game, they would play one of these games or try them out since they're the top 10 most addictive games.

The colours and images set a tone in this info graphic by giving the user a sign that this info graphic is appropriate for all ages, the games gives you happiness, has love in them, gives you different feelings depending on the story line of the games and happiness to show how amazing these games truly are.

The parts that I liked about my info graphic is that it was related to video games because I can relate to most of the video games on the info graphic since I've played those 7 games  out of the 10. Those games I've played have the best video game concepts, they either have amazing story lines and a great experience playing as a young kid.

The only parts i would fix about this info graphic is to add more pictures to attract the viewers more and make the colours more vibrant colours to attract the viewer quicker. I found that it took me a while to pick this info graphic because I was debating to choose a different info graphic then this one I had picked out.

Thank you for reading and feel free to comment on this visual diary entry or ask any questions.

Favorite Logo Design

My Favourite Logo Design

The reason the Nintendo 64 logo is my favourite logo because this logo in my opinion if very simple, colourful, attractive with the mix of cool & warm colours and very memorable to me. The reason why this logo is very memorable to me is because when i was younger, I had always played Nintendo 64 games when there wasn't any newer game systems at the time. I would always remember this logo in the beginning of any game before I start the actual game. It was simple, I could draw the logo as a kid and I liked all the simple colours as a kid.  The other reason why this logo was very memorable was because the company who owned it was Nintendo. They had made many classics and amazing games that they can't remake and have the same feel as today. The logo is also supposed to represent a system for Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and was perfect and simple because the "N" stood for Nintendo and the placement is easy to see on a screen of a t.v wen playing. It is in the centre, easy to spot, not in a corner where it was difficult to see and the size of the logo was very easy to see to the players who would play the games. When it came to the colours of the logo, they followed the colour scheme theories and balanced out. It didn't look too much nor did it look too little. This is the reason why this is my favourite logo of all time.

Thank you for reading my visual diary entry. Feel free to comment about my opinions and thank you again for reading.

Unit 8-9 Colour Theories

The Colour Theory
Primary Colours are red, blue and yellow. These three colours are the most basic colours on the colour wheel. They cannot be made from any other colours but all other colours on the colour wheel are made from them. They are commonly used together to attract attention, such as children's products or at a circus.

Secondary Colours are green, orange and purple. They are formed by mixing equal amounts of the two primary colours that are beside them on the colour wheel. For example, green is made from mixing blue and yellow. They can be used together to create a nicely balanced colour scheme.

Tertiary Colours are blue-green, yellow-green, red-orange, red-purple and blue-purple. They are formed by mixing a primary colour and a secondary colour together. For example, as the name implies, blue-green is made from mixing blue and green. Tertiary colours help create a wider colour palette.

Tints and Shades are Lighter versions of colors are formed by adding white and are called tints. Darker versions are formed by adding black and are called shades. This is illustrated on the color wheel by adding two inner rings for tints and two outer rings for shades. The middle ring is the hue.

Monochromatic Colours are colours with variations in tint and shade, such as
green, light green and dark green. Although there is very little variety in these colours, they can be used to create a simple, clean, and elegant colour scheme with minimum contrast.

Analogous Colours are beside or near each other on the colour wheel, such as blues and blue-greens. This colour scheme is similar to monochromatic colours but with more range. They have low contrast but work well together because they have common undertones.

Complimentary Colours are two colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel, such as blue-purple and orange. They provide maximum colour contrast and work particularly well when a warm colour is paired with a cool colour. Using complementary colours is an important aspect of creating aesthetically pleasing art and graphic design.

split-complementary-colors

Split Complimentary Colours is a colour and two colours adjacent to its complimentary colour, such as green-yellow, purple and red. These colours provide high contrast without the strong tension of the complementary scheme.

triadic-colors

Triadic Colours are three colours equally spaced around the colour wheel. They are not as contrasting as complementary colours but look more balanced. Primary colours and secondary colours are both examples of triadic colour schemes.

tetradic-colorsTetradic Colours are two pairs of complimentary colours, also known as double complementary, such as blue-purple, green, yellow-orange and red. It may look like too much colour if all four colours are used in equal amounts. Therefore one or two colours should be dominant.

Warm Colours are red, orange, and yellow. Warm colours are bright and vivid. Warm colours are often used to make something stand out and draw attention.

Cold Colours are calm and soothing in art. Cool colours are mostly green, blue, and purple. Cool colours can be used as a background.

Unit 4-6 Progress and Commentary on Editing

After you're all done your ridiculous frames, cleaning up all the lines and colouring, you would think that its all done and the editing is a piece of cake! Wrong OnO!! There is such a wide variety of songs that could express an animation is a whole different subject. A single sone expresses so many thought and feelings to you have to pick the right song to express your story the way you want. It gives the viewer a certain atmosphere or feelings. For example, a song called reach for the stars from the game Sonic Colours
. This song is about chasing your dream and not worrying what lies ahead of you in the future. Your going to chase that star no matter what and do what it takes to get that dream or star in this song. This gives the feeling of hope and inspiration to work hard or thoughts that the character will get a good ending or and exciting part of a video or animation. You need that right song to fit your animation. Another comment i would like to add is don't pick a bunch and not decide your particular song. You need only a few songs in your animation or else the viewer would get confused from all the different songs or instrumentals. You just need 2 or 3 to get your viewers really going.

When uploading your frames for your animation, get ready to wait because since there are 24 frames in 1 second, those frames for 3 minutes will take forever. As we speak, i am waiting for my frames to download right now and its taking forever. My advice here it to just do other work like journals or other units while waiting. My Favourite instrumental would be a created song by Jess Disraeli. The song was used for a short film Afflicted Inc. The short film is a about a company who's employees personified affliction like suicide, shame, anorexia and fear. These are a few of the afflictions. Its a pretty interesting short film and made by Anna akana and her cast of members helping her film this and act out. Pretty much everyone there to help make the short film happen.

I hope you enjoyed reading this journal and good luck in your animation if you're doing an animation.

Progress and opinion over the project in Unit 4-6

My progress and commentary on my progress so far on this project. I found that the first time I started this animation by myself, I was super excited for the animation. I had high expectations thinking "Oh! It won't take that long and i'll love every moment of this animation and process!" Although I thought wrong. Don't get me wrong, I loved drawing the frames in this animation. It was just a lot of work for one person. I needed another person to help do the cleaning or even colour for that matter. It would really go a long way because after actually having experience with a real animation for the first time, i know NOW that a lot of work goes into these animation and every little detail. It takes a lot to do every rough frame. It is very time consuming to clean up every frame. It takes a lot of time colour within the lines and adding the shadowing. I never knew before the work and effort that it takes to make an amazing animation. My last commentary I have to say about this animation is make sure to EARLY! Considering all the time it takes to make a few seconds which is more than 200 frames, that's a lot of work to do.  My other comment I would like to mention about this animation is that the exporting process. Make sure you eject your usb properly. It goes a long way. The night before, I was rushing to export the 1000+ frames into my little usb. When it was done exporting, i pressed the eject button so I assumed it was done but my goodness was i wrong. Today when I tried to put in the images and it gave me really weird files. Corrupted files that is. So my advice when making an animation, make sure you take extra care of your files and frames. They are your everything. They are like... you're children there! They are very precious and needed to be taken care of. After finishing this whole animation, I'm just really tired and I found that is was a great experience. I just need someone to help me to make it faster and easier.  Now... I'm just tired and need to go do other units of media. I find this was the most time consuming media to me. Very busy at school since I'm behind. All i have to do now so far in my animation is upload the pictures, video and all my reference videos. Then the animation will done and I can hand in the lovely units. Thanks for reading and feel free to comment on these journals.

Unit 3 My Other inspirations

My Idea for this unit on this assignment: A Journey in 5 Photos. This is one of the images. Most of the photos couldn’t fit since their too big but here is one of the photos. The reason I made these images in certain area, they’re meant to relate to Journey. My idea for this assignment was the journey to find your dream.
I got inspired because at the time, i kept thinking of the future. People all around me we're figuring out what they wanted to do already while I'm still not %100 sure. Also, the influence of my parents had inspired me because they kept asking me what i wanted to do and once you find your passion, you'll be set and happy. All this future talk had made me thinking and inspired me!
My other inspiration was that other then everyone talking about their futures, I kept thinking, i should do what makes me happy and have no regrets. I want to evolve, like a pikachu and grow to be stronger. I want to follow my passion which is drawing. I don't want to be filled with regrets and become what i really desire.
I hope I can actually achieve my dream in the future. I would really love to work for Studio Ghibli and learn their beautiful animations. I would also love to work at Disney! They have made beautiful and magical memories from their amazing animations! I've always looked up to them and they are just amazing! If I can't achieve my dream, i'll keep trying till I achieve my dream. No matter what obstacles may come my way, i'll make my dream happen only me can make this dream into a reality!
